Last month, we peeled back the curtain on meaning-making. We didn't just explore what things mean; we looked at how meaning itself is formed. And many of you felt that shift: that meaning isn’t something out there waiting to be discovered, but something you’re constantly creating, moment to moment.
But meaning doesn’t appear out of nowhere.
It’s created by someone.
Which brings us to this month. Who is this someone?
This Month’s Topic: Identity
This is the backward step. The one that changes everything.
We turn attention not to the stories, but to the storyteller. Not to meaning, but to the one who is making meaning.
This month, we explore identity:
What does it really mean to be “you”?
What is identity, and what is it made of?
In the same way language follows grammar rules, identity too has a hidden structures
Who are you?
What are you really?
The purpose of our exploration isn’t to find ourselves or to form another identity but instead to go beyond and transcend identity altogether. Our very ability to talk about identity, to know and observe it, means that there has to be something deeper that is aware of our identity and how it changes over time.
Game of Meaning & Identity
“We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are” Anaïs Nin
The Game of Meaning has evolved to include identity. Now it will show you how you're creating meaning and what it says about your identity.
