This month, we will thoroughly explore the nature of consciousness itself. Over the next four weeks, I will share a meditation sequence that you can practice during the week. By the end of four weeks, you will have experience in directly working with your consciousness, which is the only real way to gain profound insight into the nature of consciousness.
This week, we will practice the Aghora Mantra from Lakshmanjoo. This is one of my favorite mantras, and may it bring you as much joy as it has brought me. However, if you find this mantra too complex, you can do one of the simpler mantras.
Effortless Meditation
Mantra is a practice where you focus your attention and repeat a phrase over and over again.
It’s an effortless way to calm the mind, relax your body, and enter a peaceful meditative state.
You can do this 1–2 times per day for 20 minutes or 108 repetitions each.
