I.
"We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." Anais Nin
Life is like a mirror. We decide what pay attention to, how to interpret the events around us and we give them meaning. The world we live is of our own making.
II.
"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness." Albert Einstein
Here, Einstein points out that there is just ONE Reality, and we are within that Reality experiencing a small part of it. We often make the mistake of believing that our limited perception is true and that Reality is fragmented, but Reality can’t be divided into two realities.
III.
"Division and separation are illusions because, at the deepest level of reality, everything is fundamentally interconnected." David Bohm
The Famous Physicist David Bohm takes it a step further. Not only are we are part of the One Reality, we are deeply interconnected with it.
IV.
“We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness." Thich Nhat Hanh
